Cookies

This website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We use the following types:

  • Essential cookies — necessary for the website to function. These cannot be disabled.

  • Analytics cookies — used to understand how visitors use the site (Google Analytics 4). These are only placed with your consent.

When you first visit this site you will be shown a cookie consent banner. You can accept or decline analytics cookies at any time. To change your preferences after your initial choice, clear your browser cookies and reload the page.

What data we collect and why

1. Website analytics (Google Analytics 4)

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use this website. GA4 is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

GA4 may collect:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page

  • General location (country/city level only)

  • Device type, browser and operating system

  • How you arrived at the site (e.g. search engine, direct link)

  • A randomised analytics ID stored in a cookie on your device

We have enabled IP anonymisation in GA4, meaning your full IP address is never stored. Data collected by GA4 may be transferred to and stored on Google’s servers in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Legal basis: Consent — analytics cookies are only placed if you accept them via our cookie consent banner.

For full details see policies.google.com/privacy. You can also opt out of GA4 tracking across all websites using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
